TALLINN MUSIC WEEK

Held each spring since 2009, Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is a weeklong celebration of talent, curiosity, creativity, freedom and equality. One of Europe's fastest growing city festivals unlocks some of Tallinn’s hidden locations and brings the city into the light with a carefully crafted program of various forms of art:
- Music festival: an international line-up of 200+ acts of various genres in Tallinn’s best concert venues
- City stage: free pop-up concerts in unexpected locations around town

BIRGITTA FESTIVAL

The first Birgitta Festival in the historical ruins of Pirita Convent was held in 2005. During its more than 10 years in action, the artistic ambitions and special atmosphere have firmly rooted the festival in the cultural agenda of Tallinn and the whole Baltic region. Festival focuses on the music theatre with program emphasising the spirituality of the historical convent. The undeniable highlight in 2018 will be the classic "La Boheme" by Giacomo Puccini, straight from Lucca.
