WARSAW: 2 Michelin-starred restaurants

WARSAW: 2 Michelin-starred restaurants

When Atelier Amaro received its (and all of Poland’s) first Michelin star back in 2013, it was considered a truly remarkable achievement for chef Wojciech Modest Amaro and in fact for the overall dining scene across Eastern Europe. Now, 3 years later, it was almost expected that the Italian-born chef Andrea Camastra of restaurant Senses, will become the second restaurateur in Poland to earn a Michelin star for his kitchen characterised by freedom and dynamics. Indeed, the 2016 edition of the Michelin Guide Main Cities of Europe awarded both of these notable dining establishments with one star each.

In addition, there were also 3 Polish restaurants recognized as "Bib Gourmand", a feature of the guide that highlights restaurants offering exceptional good food at moderate prices. In Warsaw the Michelin recommendations are retained by Butchery and Wine as well as Brasserie Warszawska while the newcomer representing Krakow is the French-style bistro Zazie.

Clearly the number of restaurants offering high quality cooking has grown tremendously in Poland. To include a Michelin-starred or otherwise notable restaurant in the program of your next event in Poland, please contact our local office in Warsaw.
